18% of Brazilian e-commerce companies use Whatsapp for customer support

A report by the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service, or Sebrae, in conunction with E-commerce Brasil indicates that around one out of five Brazilian e-commerce companies use messaging app Whatsapp to reach customers.

Other research results, as a recent presentation points out, include the main conversion channels for these companies, which are organic search optimization, social networks and email marketing.
