8,7% of Brazilians in the North region access the internet only from mobile devices 

A recently released study based on data from 2013 by IBGE, or the Brazilian Geography and Statistics Institute, reveals that 45,3% of the country's population access the internet from computers while 4,1% are connected using other devices, such as mobile devices.

Data from the study's presentation point out to the North region as where Brazilians are most reliant on mobile platforms to connect to the internet, with 8,7% of the population using only these devices to get online.
