Brazilian Smartphone penetration grows 11% YOY

Data from Google's Think Insights found on a presentation by the company's Brazilian Startup and Developers Relations Division indicates the recent expansion of the smartphone market in the country.

Smartphone penetration increased from 26% to 29% in the period between 2013 to 2014, or a 11% year over year growth. Mobile internet connections also experienced a recent surge, with 72% of smartphone users alleging to make use of it on a daily basis.
