Most Brazilians hack to test their knowledge

Cibersecurity journalist Paulo Brito shared a survey on Brazilian hackers during the VI Fecomercio Cyber Crime Congress.

The data was gathered from an audience defined as non-criminal hackers and shows that the majority of the public hacks to test knowledge (39%), prove concepts (18%) or gain experience (18%). The survey also shows that most targets for hacking considered “easy” are located in Brazil (81%).
