Tablets are present in 10,8% of Brazilian households

According to a recently released study based on data from 2013 by IBGE , or the Brazilian Geograpy and Statistics Institute, tablets are present in 10,8% of Brazilian households, being more popular in the Southeast region and less prevalent in the North region.

Survey results found in the study's presentation also show that these devices are present in 23,6% of households in the Brazilian Federal District and 16% of households in the city of São Paulo.
